About This Project

Established in 1978, Quest Carpets specialise in the manufacture of high-quality carpets. Quests products are produced in their purpose-built Melbourne facility and distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Quest Carpets purchased a new industrial oven to be installed on their existing production line in Danendong. Industrial Power and Automation was tasked with the automation of this project.

This project consisted of:

  • Automation and control of Burner line based on detailed functional description
  • PLC/HMI programming and commissioning
  • Conduct a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
  • On-site commissioning, IO testing, and validation of equipment
