About This Project
Industrial Power and Automation was awarded the electrical scope of installing a raw material handling system and successfully delivered.
The story of Real Pet Food Company starts in 1994 when Tony and Christina Quinn set up a small chilled dog roll facility in Burleigh, QLD under the name V.I.P Petfoods. From this small factory the business quickly grew, and in 2002 moved into the larger and current home of Chilled & Fresh Pet Food at Yatala, QLD.
In 2019 Real Pet Food made the decision to automate their raw material handling system. This involved the supply and installation of processing equipment for fresh and frozen raw material handling.
This project consisted of:
- 33x Pumps & Motors
- 3x HMI control panels
- 6x MCC panels
Our scope of works included:
- Fabricate MCC panels
- Fabricate HMI control panels
- Install cable tray and cable support systems
- Install field wiring
- Terminate cabling to equipment
- Test & commission, IO testing, and validation of equipment
